SuffTex

The SuffTex is a hybrid of our Suffolks and Texels, resulting in increased carcass quality, hybrid vigor, a powerful growth rate, and worm resistance.

We have wether lambs available as of June 2026.

All lambs are raised on pasture with supplemental creep feed until they are a bit older.

2026 Butcher Lambs:

$8.50/lb hanging weight + processing

We recommend butchering between 6 months and 1 year of age, although many customers will wait till 15-18 months for more yield.

Note: Sheep meat butchered between 2-3 years of age is considered mutton. Mutton is more nutritious, more flavorful, and less tender than young lamb.

  • Do you currently have lambs available?

YES!

  • What is the purchase process to get lamb in my freezer?

  1. Pay your $100 deposit and decide on a butcher date.
  2. The mobile processor will come to the farm, harvest your animal, and provide the "hanging weight" of your lamb.
  3. We will then invoice you $8.50/lb hanging weight, plus a $100 harvest fee.
  4. You will then contact the butcher to provide them with your cut & wrap instructions.
  5. Finally, the processor will contact you to pick up your finished lamb, paying them for the custom cut & wrap service.
